Why Do a Paid Internship?
The paid internship program gives you the opportunity to develop your skills as part of a committed team and to acquire relevant experience. As a trainee, you will work closely with a supportive and available tutor, who will help you to enhance your learning experience through consistent and solid guidance and feedback.
The program allows you to:
- Benefit from assistance and follow-up to ensure that you integrate the work environment in a sustainable manner
- Undertake paid internships in businesses operating in fields experiencing a shortage of manpower
- Practice a semi-specialized trade in a sector of activity that is in full expansion
- Acquire work experience in Quebec
Available Internships
On the program for this 16-week school/company work-study training program (360 hours) paid at $18.50/hour.
Training information
- Apply basic concepts of electricity
- Preventing harm to health, safety and the environment ASP

Assemble and wire a control panel
- Participate in the integration of automated systems

Integrate into the workplace
Eligibility Criteria

NOT having the qualifications required for the position of control panel installer

Manual dexterity, visual acuity
- Attention to detail, concern for quality

The ability to work in a team
- French spoken and written

Own a car

Basic knowledge of electricity (an asset)

This program is carried out in partnership with the sectoral workforce committee for the electrical and electronics industry (ÉLEXPERTISE) and Korpus.
The CACI implements several programs in the printing sector in partnership with the Comité sectoriel de main-d’œuvre des communications graphiques du Québec (GrafiCompétences).
