Not at all! All children are welcome at the CACI childcare centre, regardless of the language they speak.
Our staff are experienced in welcoming children from diverse cultural backgrounds and adapt to each child’s pace. Through games, activities, gestures, images, and interactions, children can communicate, have fun, and feel comfortable, even if they do not yet speak French.
The childcare centre is also a wonderful opportunity for children to discover French in a supportive environment while playing and socializing with other children. Our priority is to ensure that every child feels welcomed, safe, and respected.
Yes, it is your responsibility to provide the items needed to care for your child, including diapers and, if necessary, food and snacks. You must also inform us of any special needs your child may have, particularly regarding allergies, dietary restrictions, or any other important information.
There is no need to register your child in advance. Simply visit the reception desk and ask to speak with the childcare service coordinator, or contact us by phone at 514-856-3511, ext. 279.
The safety and well-being of children are our top priorities at the CACI childcare centre.
Our facilities are designed to provide a safe, welcoming environment that meets children’s needs. Our qualified staff provide constant supervision and ensure that safety procedures are followed while supporting children during play and activities.
We also pay special attention to each child’s individual needs, routines, and pace. Activities are adapted to the children’s ages, and the materials used are carefully selected to create a safe and stimulating environment.
Parents must provide important information about their child so that our team can offer personalized care and respond appropriately to their needs.
It is completely normal for a child to feel anxious or upset when separating from a parent, especially during a first experience at a childcare centre or if the child has difficulty understanding our staff or being understood.
Our staff welcome each child with care and patience, taking the time to reassure them, support them, and build a trusting relationship. Activities, games, and opportunities for interaction are offered to help children feel comfortable and gradually adjust to their new environment.
We encourage parents to inform our team about their child’s routines and specific needs to help make the transition easier. Our goal is for every child to feel safe and enjoy their time at the childcare centre.
