We help low-income immigrants, the elderly and students to file their tax return every year.
In Quebec, unlike in other Canadian provinces, one must file two tax returns, one at the federal level with the Canada Revenue Agency and one at the provincial level with Revenu Québec.
Do you need assistance to fill out your income tax return?
If you have a low income and a straightforward fiscal situation, our volunteers, trained by Revenu Québec and by the Canada Revenue Agency, may fill out your income tax return on your behalf.
Our tax return service is intended for citizens, permanent residents, refugees, temporary workers and students with proof of status in Canada; newcomers have the priority.
Description of the Service
The fiscal information papers are prepared by the employer, the payer or the administrator. You should receive most of the papers and receipts before the end of February. If you haven’t received them or have lost them, ask your employer or the issuer of the slip for a copy.
Eligible income in 2025:
- Single person: $40,000,
- Adult with one child: $55,000
- Couple: $55,000
- For each additional dependent: $5,000
- Interest income should not exceed $ 1000 in all cases

Persons Who Are Not Eligible
The following persons are not eligible for the tax return assistance service:
- Deceased persons, bankrupt persons, persons who have capital gains or losses,
- Independent workers with an income above $ 1000.
- UBER workers with an income above $2,000.

This service is offered from February to April at a cost of $10 per person.
