The CACI’s intercultural mediation service helps immigrants express their needs and collaborates with public and private service providers by assisting them in carrying out their activities and participating in the planification, design, application and evaluation of social interventions.
Intercultural Mediation at the CACI
CACI counsellors sometimes engage in intercultural mediation in school environments. In carrying out this mission, they often act as interpreters and mediators between newcomer families (parents and children) and the school establishment staff when misunderstandings or conflicts arise.
