Preparation for the Citizenship Test
Have you been invited to take the citizenship test?
In order to help you prepare for all the steps of the citizenship test, the CACI offers a workshop to make sure you have the tools you need.
The citizenship test is the last step in one’s immigration process and precedes the acquisition of Canadian citizenship. By becoming a Canadian citizen, one obtains the right to vote as well as a Canadian passport.
This step can be stressful for citizenship candidates and we often receive questions regarding the citizenship test’s procedure and particularities. Our integration advisor Mirna will answer all your questions during a free 3-hour workshop.
Why a Citizenship Test?
Adults who are 18 to 54 years of age at the time they apply for citizenship must take the citizenship test. It allows Canadian authorities to ensure that they have sufficient knowledge of their host country and of the rights and privileges granted by citizenship.
