An integration advisor will welcome and accompany you through the administrative procedures that must be completed in order to obtain important documents.
Administrative Procedures
The CACI offers a free and personalized service to facilitate your integration and your participation in Quebec society.
We assist you in obtaining the following important documents and provide information regarding :
- Quebec selection certificate (CSQ) and permanent residence applications,
- Citizenship application,
- Sponsorship application,
- Translation (Birth Certificate. Please note that this is not an official translation) and interpretation,
- Health insurance card,
- Social insurance number,
- GST/HST credit application and solidarity tax credit application,
- Canada child benefit application (CCB),
- Application for Quebec family allowance,
- Application for full-time French courses,
- Documentation regarding information sessions about life and work in Quebec regions.

- Notice of decision
- Proof of current address

- Marriage certificate and three proofs of cohabitation, if applicable
- Final transcripts
- Result of a language test for spouse included, if applicable
- Diploma of studies
- Any study permit, valid or expired
- Any CAQ, valid or expired
- Valid post-graduation work permit, if applicable
- Two proofs of residence in Quebec
- Valid passport
- Birth certificate
- Any work permit, valid or expired

- Marriage certificate and three proofs of cohabitation, if applicable
- Language test result
- Employment certificate for each job and position held
- Statements 1 and T4 for each fiscal year worked
- Employment record, if applicable
- Three pay statements for each fiscal year worked
- Proof of status (permanent residence card or citizenship certificate)
- Passport of husband/wife/children
- Birth certificate of husband/wife/children
- Marriage certificate
- Divorce certificate, if applicable
- Criminal record/police certificate of husband/wife
- Identity photo of spouse/children

- Letter regarding the mandatory internship, if applicable
- Permanent residence card (valid or expired)
- Valid driver’s license or valid RAMQ card
- Passport valid for a period of 5 years prior to application
- Identity photo (Canadian passport size)
- Proof of language, French or English, for any applicant between 18 and 55 years old
- Old residence card, valid or expired
- Valid passport or passport with immigration visa
- Social insurance number for the applicant
- Proof of status for the applicant and the children concerned
- Birth certificate for the children concerned
- Sample check from applicant or joint account
- Two proofs of current address
- Confirmation of permanent residence or permanent residence card
- Certificate of citizenship
- Work permit (excluding case type 28)
- CSQ, if applicable

For all immigration payments, only credit cards are accepted (Debit Mastercard and Debit Visa included for IRCC).
For any other requests, please come on site for more information.
Commissioner for Oaths
A commissioner for oaths at the CACI who is recognized by the Quebec Ministry of Justice can administer your oath before you sign a document.
Examples of documents:
- Consent letter,
- Proof of accommodation,
- Invitation letter,
- etc.
Exceptionally, this service is offered for a fee of $2.50 to $5.00 per document.
