I Have Children. Am I Eligible for Benefits?

In Quebec, if you have children, you may be eligible for two types of benefits

1. The Canada Child Benefit (CCB) from the federal government (paid monthly).
2. The Quebec Family Allowance (paid every three months by default, or monthly upon request)

The amount depends on:

• The number of children;
• Their age;
• Your family income;
• Your family situation (couple or single parent);
• The type of custody arrangement (sole or shared).
