Am I Eligible for the Housing Allowance?

In Quebec, the housing allowance is financial assistance intended for low-income individuals and families who spend a significant portion of their budget on housing. It may be available to tenants, room renters, and homeowner occupants.

You May Be Eligible If You Meet the Following Conditions:

• Live in Quebec;
• Have an eligible family situation, for example:
  • Be a single person aged 50 or older;

• Spend at least 30% of your family income on housing;
