“Le jouet magique” offers relief as well as support to parents.
Daycare
The CACI offers its clients a daycare service in order for parents to be free to take part in activities (for example: French classes) that are held at the CACI or to meet with an integration advisor or an employment advisor.
The daycare service aims to offer children a diversified environment in the context of which they can learn while playing. In it, children are exposed to different cultures, including the Quebec culture, and learn respect for diversity and the values of Quebec society. The education program is designed for children who do not speak French
Eligibility:
- Available for children aged 2 to 12
- Parents must be taking part in CACI activities

- Opening hours: from Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Salaberry Daycare:

- Opening hours: from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Cost: $9 per day ($7 for asylum seekers)

Non-Standard Hours Daycare
In addition to the daycare service offered exclusively to its clients, the CACI offers a non-standard hours daycare service financed by the Ministry of Family as part of a pilot project.
It is intended for immigrant families living in the borough of Ahuntsic-Cartierville that have jobs in the neighbourhood’s retail stores, factories or health centres. It is also available for parents who undergo training in order to enhance their knowledge and integrate the job market. The education program is designed for children who do not speak French

Non-Standard Hours:

- Saturday and Sunday, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
