Learning French at the CACI, your key to success
French courses offered at the CACI are intended for all those who wish to learn French or to improve their knowledge of French. The certificate which is delivered is valid for the citizenship application. Four sessions are offered per year in the spring, summer, fall and winter.
- Persons 16 years and older living in Quebec
- Full-time or Part-time courses
- 11 weeks of classes per session
- Free courses
- Certificate is valid for citizenship application
- Beginner, intermediate and advanced levels
Free Courses
Courses are Courses are free. There are no registration or tuition fees. Learning material fees may, however, apply in some teaching establishments.
Schedule
You may choose the schedule that is most convenient for you during registration.
Next session from April 30 to July 2, 2025, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Financial assistance for your participation in the courses. You could receive $230 per week.
Full-time courses are given at CACI – Salaberry (4800, rue De Salaberry, Montréal (QC), H4J 1H6).
The next session will take place from March 31 to June 15, 2025.
Morning
- Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 12 pm
Afternoon
- Monday to Thursday from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm
Evening
- Monday and Wednesday from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm
- Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm

CACI Daycare
The CACI daycare is available for children aged 2 to 12 and the childcare fees are fully reimbursed by the ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI). Some conditions may apply. Some conditions may apply. Some conditions may apply.
