A memorable experience with dedicated counsellors that offers an exciting summer to children!
The camp welcomes children of all origins aged between 6 and 12. Your children will have a unique experience that is both playful and educational.
CACI Summer Camp
The CACI summer camp is offered during the summer to newcomers who are taking French courses or who are receiving other services from the CACI as well as to parents who work or study.
The camp takes place thanks to the financial support of Service Canada as part of the Canada Summer Jobs program and thanks to the involvement of partners such as Ville en vert, the CIUSSS du Nord-de-l’Île-de-Montréal, the SPVM neighbourhood station 10 and social agents and counsellors.
Well Trained Counsellors
Before the beginning of the summer camp, counsellors as well as volunteer assistant-counsellors are trained in the following topics: emergency care and first aid, management of health and hygiene measures, recycling and waste management, children’s safety, crisis management, team work, and designing a calendar of activities.
Activities Offered
The summer camp allows children to enjoy a variety of activities:
- baking workshops
- yoga
- cinema and water slides outings
- writing and theatre
- improvisation
- giga ball
- karaoke
- relay race, soccer, etc.
Some activities were designed together with the children in order to give centre stage to their ideas. They had great fun setting up the Santa Claus village and organizing a Halloween party.
